About Us

Johnson Construction Group, Inc. began in 1983 as Bob Johnson Construction, Inc. and in 2025 transitioned to our new name while remaining a family-owned and operated business based in Geneseo, Illinois. Now a second-generation company, we continue the tradition of quality craftsmanship and dependable service that our customers have trusted for decades.

Today, Johnson Construction Group is proud to continue to be an authorized Lester Buildings dealer, specializing in pole barns and post frame building throughout Henry County, the Quad Cities, and the surrounding communities. Lester post frame buildings are known for their strength, efficiency, and long-term durability, making them one of the most trusted building systems in the industry.

In addition to custom pole barns and post frame construction, we also serve as a general contractor for a variety of projects including home additions, new home construction, replacement windows, siding, and roofing. Our team works closely with customers from the design stage through construction to ensure every project is built to last.

We proudly serve customers within a 60-mile radius of Geneseo, Illinois and are members of the Quad City Builders and Remodelers Association, Geneseo Chamber of Commerce, and National Frame Builders Association.
